Library Homepage
To achieve the educational objectives of KINGS, the library proactively provides research and learning materials to professors and students by collecting, preserving, and managing educational and research materials. It regularly informs of newly arriving literature and ensures joint cooperation with domestic and international nuclear-related institutions and industries to share its books and materials.
Acquisition
Application for material purchase
Faculty or students who desire the purchase of library materials may apply for such purchase.
Purchase
KINGS reviews the list of requested materials, makes purchases, and publishes the list of purchases on the bulletin board for newly arriving books.
Request for material donation
The library requests its users to donate materials.
Types of materials
The library materials shall be classified into the following types:
- 1Designated or recommended books (domestic books, overseas books)
- 2Reference (CODE, HANDBOOK)
- 3General books (domestic books, overseas books)
- 4Periodicals
- 5Academic journals (domestic journals, overseas journals)
- 6Research reports
Access
Access hours
The library shall be accessible during the following hours:
Mondays to Fridays | 09:00-22:00 |

Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays | Closed |
* However, in consideration of the fact that the classes in the curriculum are conducted full-time, the hours may be adjusted or extended.
Closed days
In addition to the closed days provided above, the library shall be closed on days as deemed necessary by KINGS.
Access
To access materials, users shall bear their identification cards (student ID or faculty ID) and present their identification cards when requested by a person in charge. They may copy necessary parts of materials.
Lending and return
Number of lendable books and period
The number of books that can be borrowed from the library and the lending period shall be as follows:

Lending
Those who intend to borrow materials shall present their identification cards (student ID or faculty ID) to the librarian at the desk and lend materials
Booking
Those who book a material lent to another person may preferentially borrow such material when it is returned. Materials can be booked after a search, and their return can be directly checked on the library website. The library sends text messages as well.
Returning
All users shall return materials within the lending period. They shall return the materials to the librarian at the desk and confirm the return. Users shall bear responsibility for the loss of or damage to any materials they borrowed.
Overdue
Those who fail to return materials by the return date shall be subject to sanctions such as a ban on lending for the period corresponding to the overdue period or imposition of late fees.
Other library service
Document delivery service
Those who want to access any material not held by the library such as academic journals, may obtain the material in paper, either free or charge or for a fee, upon request.
Copying and printing
Users may copy or print materials with the copy machines within the library. However, they shall comply with the copyright laws.
